Merry Christmas From Girl's Best Friend

Hi

This is me with my Christmas present. Our house has been so busy the last few weeks. I made lots of new friends and made everyone play with me.

Having a great time! Right now I'm lying at Mums' feet. Can't let her out of my sight for long. She went away for a few weeks recently and I really missed her.

I hate it when the cat gets more attention that I do, but I'm working on that one. I've figured out that if I whimper when she is getting stroked by anyone, particularly my owner, someone else will come over and play with me. I must admit Mum does get a little annoyed, but that never lasts for long. She keeps telling me that the cat has been here longer than I have, but I can't remember that. All I know is I need attention all the time.

The other best part has been the turkey - mmmm. I've managed to get a few extra bits to eat. I don't usually get extras as I have a sensitive tummy, but it is Christmas.

Well must go now, Mum's moved and I can smell something cooking in the kitchen. If I'm good I might get lucky.

Let Me Introduce Myself

My name is Chrissie and I am a 6 year old Rough Collie. I live in England with my family. I think I'm quite well looked after and they do spend a lot of time with me. I'd hate to be alone all the time.

My favor things are:

• Playing catch in the park
• Having a good run each day
• Pulling on my mom's orange woolen shirt. It has lots of holes in it from my teeth. Don't think she minds really.
• Playing with Fluff the cat, although she does get a little rough sometimes and I have to leave her alone.

We live next to a park and sometimes I like to go off for a walk, but then I get called back in and told off. I don't know why, the park is just there, aren't you not supposed to go to it. Humans!

The thing I can't understand is why I don't get to eat all the different things that my family eat. Just be cause I tend to throw it back up soon after I've eaten it, does not mean I shouldn't be allow to have any. It still tastes great going down.
